According to Forrester Research, customers will make insurance buying decisions on the Internet, but will eventually purchase it offline. Forrester also contends that as online competition intensifies, insurance companies must find a way to Internet-enable thousands of agents, many who feel threatened by technology and do not operate in Internet time.
